Three plus Two is a new collaborative project combining the musical talents of triplets Lowell, Evan and Ivy Ringel with those of their close friends David Leon and Jonah Udall. Their music is an amalgamation of their jazz, classical, and folk influences, as well as each member’s unique creative voice. All 5 members are recent graduates of leading music schools, graduating from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, Eastman School of Music, and UNC-Greensboro.
Lowell Ringel is a bassist, composer, and educator currently based in Miami, FL. He is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Jazz Pedagogy as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Miami.
Evan Ringel is a trombonist/violinist hailing from Hillsborough, NC.
