Originally from Winston-Salem, NC, Aaron studied guitar with Jeff Foxall, and began performing publicly in 1998. He took up the resonator guitar in 2003, and two years later was a finalist in the National Resonator Guitar Competition. He co-founded bluegrass act Dehlia Low in 2007. From 2007 to 2011 Dehlia Low toured nationally and into Canada, released five albums, and was signed to Rebel Records. In 2010, he won the Rockygrass Dobro Championship in Lyons, Colorado. In addition to working with Dehlia Low, he’s recorded lap steel and dobro on Galen Kipar’s last three albums, and is currently a member of the Asheville-based band Tellico.
