Summer Youth Jazz Ensembles
Description: Students are placed into groups based on level and work on small group jazz. Open to middle and high school students.
Generally we run beginner, intermediate and advanced combos. Students work on classic small group repertoire of Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk, Wayne Shorter, John Coltrane etc...
Students do not need prior jazz experience, but should have several years of playing on their instrument.
